A non-fiction love letter to both my family and the house we grew up in, as well as to Kodachrome Super-8 film stock, which, since I shot and edited this film has been sadly discontinued.

I filmed this in south Texas during various trips back home from college in the Pacific Northwest and for years did not know what to do with the footage.

While in graduate school years later in La Jolla, California and taking a class taught by Babette Mangolte, I was inspired by her audio techniques and theories, and decided to interview each member of my family over the phone.

This film is the product of the above. This is not found footage, but footage I shot in the last few years. The quality of the sound is intentional.

This film was part of the inaugural exhibition at Luis De Jesus Seminal Projects gallery.
